Lakewood Country Club

Surrounded by a luxurious housing estate, Lakewood comprises three partials of nine holes each – Rock Course, Lake Course and Wood Course. Each of the three nines is unique in design and character but, together, they are always kept balanced as to the degree of difficulty to make it playable for golfers of all skill levels.

The par-72 course has four designated tees – black, blue, white and red – with the total yardage measuring 7,014 from the farthest tees. The tees, fairways and roughs are grassed with Bermuda and the greens are carpeted with Tiff Dwarf Bermuda grass. The fairways are wide and generously dotted with tall trees, while roughs, bunkers, subtle doglegs and undulating greens spice up the challenge. Water comes into play on quite a few holes.

The signature par 3s of the course such as #3 Lake and #8 Wood rival some of the very best golf holes in and around Bangkok. The caddies are all well trained with most having worked at Lakewood for over five years. This makes green reading, with their help, a real pleasure.
